WELDING

In the first week of the bike being at the shop, it has been stripped down and the tank and cowl are off getting painted.

With the frame stripped, it was time to get the welds fixed-up so it looks like factory standard. My MIG skills aren't exactly the best and the fact the welds are gas-less doesn't help.

I left the frame in the capable hands of Greg at GP Specialist Welding and Fabrication to take care of the welding.

The frame should be ready mid-week and I'll drop this back to the shop ready for sand blasting and a coat of gloss black paint.
