Time to start pulling this bike down to see what I am dealing with.
The minimal electrics made the process very easy. While I may be mechanically minded I am certainly no auto electrician (don't even own a multimeter). I have taken care to ensure every wire I cut or unplug is labelled with its exact purpose.
I'm yet to decide if I will cut and flatten out the rear section or leave it on an angle for the seat.
On a separate note, at the parents farm I remembered we have an old AG bike. My brother sent through some photos and it looks like this fuel tank should suit the bike nicely.
Tomorrows goal will be cleaning and service the carby.
